Wow! It was a challenging day today.
Day 3 begins with a lecturer on Reef Check about invertebrates and fish species from the mother of the project Helen Sykes.
Volunteers have to put in a lot of effort to get it right by practicing on land.
In reality to get the days work done we have to jump into the temporary tabu area and put into action… silence and little movement needed since fish counting was number 1 on the list .
Number of invertebrates has to be taken into account.
Last but not the least the substrate.Lemon leaf tea witi boiled doughnut in coconut milk and homemade pawpaw jam was very refreshing for the volunteers and was just what they needed before writing up data and graphs.
That was our hot news up dates for the day .
Thanks for being with us and stay tuned for day 4’s upcoming news.
